Party in a Snow Storm!

Well if I had any, doubt I am now positive that the holiday season is for sure here! This is one of my favorite times of the year. Mainly because it's filled with fun shows on TV and the food… oh goodness the food! I could say the company and being thankful for family and friends but well… I really don't need to use the holiday's as an excuse to for that. I try to fill my life with as much laughter and love as I can squeeze into it. Like when packing books or shoes for a vacation… I am known to sit on a suit case or two to make them zip!

This past weekend though was quite an event. My mama and I hosted our first ever housewarming party! Which we were super excited about because our last home was not really laid out for entertaining. Which I for one love to do… and so of course it snowed!

Many of our good friends could not come do to the icy roads and we were glad they chose to stay safe. That's not to say that we didn't still have a full house of brave souls, some who had four wheel drive and some whose husband's did.

One thing that we did to remember the day was instead of having a guest book to remember all who came, we decided to do something a little different. A roll of wrapping paper, a trip to target, a $2.50 frame from a thrift shop, and a can of Banner Red spray paint later and we had our very own make shift photo booth! We wrapped a door with the wrapping paper for the back drop and let the shenanigans ensue. My Mama and I thought this would be a fun way to have memory of each of our guests!

It was a blast and though we surely did miss those who could not make it, this is only the beginning of great things to come. This was definitely the best way to truly bring in the season. Love, laughs, food and hot cocoa was definitely involved!
